Khali Mobbed, Fans Injured!


On Saturday night WWE superstar Khali had visited the house of Punjab Deputy Speaker Satpal Gosain for dinner Friday night.When Khali came out,there was a hundreds of fans standing out to catch a glimpse of the star.

"The fans standing out was eager to click photographs of Khali," police inspector Surinder Mohan said in Ludhiana, some 100 km from Chandigarh.

"In the melee, some unidentified person fired in the air. Splinters of the bullet hit two people, one sustained an injury in the shoulder while the other had minor bruises," he added.

World Wrestling Entertainment have revealed the latest news that they will be modifying one of their most popular PPVs "Royal Rumble"

The WWE will increase the number of participants in the famous "Royal Rumble" battle royal,according to Joey Styles, via Twitter.

"This year, there will be 40 participants in the Royal Rumble Match instead of 30. It will be the biggest Royal Rumble Match in history!" Styles

There is a question that how this modification will improve or hurt the battle royal.The excitement will increase for sure.However, it will also skew those famous stats where every year the announcers talk about how many people a wrestler like Kane has eliminated and constantly refer to the Royal Rumble records.

There is also a bright chances of exposure for young wrestlers by being added to the PPV. The Royal Rumble has always had the potential to be the most important match in the WWE. Making everyone participate will add to the importance

WWE Renews Partnership with Sky Deutschland

Ten-year relationship with Sky Deutschland in Germany, Austria and Switzerland has been extended by WWE for another 3 years.

The new three year agreement has been expanded to include TV, digital and mobile platforms.This allows Sky Deutschland airing the full-length versions of WWE's flagship show RAW for the first time, as well as WWE's 13 annual pay-per-view events.

"This renewal will take WWE's relationship with Sky Deutschland into its thirteenth year and is testament to the ever growing popularity of WWE in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We look forward to expanding the brand by delivering more content to our fans on the different platforms of Sky Deutschland."said Andrew Whitaker, the executive VP of international for WWE.

Roman Steuer, the VP of sports at Sky Deutschland, added: "We are very pleased to continue our long and successful cooperation with the WWE. In the upcoming three years, we will offer our subscribers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland the most extensive and up-to-date WWE coverage in the history of German-language television. The unique mixture of sport and entertainment is representative of Sky's programming diversity and will be an important component of our high-value sports service in the future."

John Cena and WWE Honored As 2010 Mashable Award Winners


Website covering news in social and digital media popularly known as Mashable.In an award ceremony on Thursday at the Mashable Awards Gala held in New York,honored World Wrestling Entertainment and John Cena among others.

More than 1.3 million nominations and votes had been received by Mashable due to vast technology and the web.

Stand Up for WWE won the Most Creative Social Media Campaign category, victorious over the Old Spice Guy, WTFLungCancer, Live Off Groupon, and Zoltaroo (The Bonnaroo Mind Reader).

Cena was selected over UnCultured, Hardly Normal, Chris Hughes and charitybuzz as the Yahoo! Most Influential Social Good Champion

Full Details on Kaval's Release From WWE Revealed


Kaval's himself wants to leave from WWE.It was revealed that he was said to be frustrated over his overall position with the company.

WWE's creative department was told by officials to "job out" Kaval following his WWE NXT season two win before building him up again for his pay-per-view Intercontinental Championship match against champion Dolph Ziggler, a match that Kaval went on to lose.

Following the match, WWE creative was told to start jobbing out Kaval once again. Furthermore, Kaval confronted WWE officials following his on-screen loss to Drew McIntyre on the December 21st edition of Friday Night SmackDown and asked if there was any kind of heat on him and was told that there wasn't. He then asked if he would be involved in any future plans and was told by WWE officials that there were no plans or ideas for him. This led to Kaval requesting and being granted his release from WWE.
